Trying new things

My husband Aaron has been keeping a journal off and on now since his college graduation back in 2008 and today- instead of studying for my finals- I flipped through it (with his permission). Though it was sporadic at best, I'm amazed at all of the day to day things that he chose to record and how wonderful it was to read them. I have attempted to keep a journal before but I always become too long winded and my hand tires out before my mind, so I'm going to be giving this blogging thing a shot. I enjoy reading other people's blogs, especially when they talk about their day to day activities and challenges.

Today was mostly a day for me to work on my Scentsy business and put a few things together and organize some paperwork for taxes. I kept busy for most of the day but it was just one of those days where you don't do any one specific thing that makes the day stand out. One point definitely worth noting is that I got a call for an interview at Knutson's Family Dentistry right here in town. The interview is on Monday and I am so looking forward to where this interview may take me. :) I feel very good about where my numbers for December (pre Christmas) have turned out for Scentsy and I can savor that tiny bit of success for just a little while as well.

Aaron is busy studying diligently and learning a lot! He enjoys law school very much but I have a strong feeling that he will be very glad to be done with the first semester tomorrow after his last final in Civil Procedure. He said yesterday that he would like to take one day over Christmas break just to sleep all day :)
